As the season winds down, the number of undefeated teams across the state has dwindled to just nine. There will be at least one fewer this week when Roseau and Mountain Iron-Buhl meet, provided both win their games on Monday.

The Rangers, ranked No. 1 in Class 1A by the Minnesota Basketball News, and the No. 1-2A Rams have been rolling this season and show no sign of slowing down.

Four players on each team average more than 10 points a game, but with all of the capable offensive threats, it might come down to which team plays better defense.

High school basketball doesn’t get much better when two top-ranked and undefeated teams collide. In this game featuring two of the highest-scoring offenses in the state, it’s easy to see why the meeting of the top teams in Class 1A and Class 2A is our pick for the Top Game of the Week.
