Player of the Week revealed

This week's winner

Mikayla Homola, Osseo. The senior guard led the team with 33 points in an impressive 66-46 win over Maple Grove.

The other candidates

Tori Andrew, Orono. The senior guard posted 28 points, 12 rebounds and three assists in the No. 3-3A Spartans' 66-60 win over Eden Prairie. The Yale commit is ranked first in the state for three-pointers made (60).

Abigail Bollingberg, Lyle/Austin Pacelli. In a 64-54 victory over Randolph that kept the No. 7-1A Athletics undefeated in Southeast Conference play, the sophomore guard scored a team-high 32 points.

Ashley Freund, Jordan. The senior forward had 31 points in a 79-52 win against Minnesota River Conference opponent Sibley East.

Heaven Hamling, Grand Rapids. The junior guard continues to put up big numbers for the No. 6-3A Thunderhawks, tallying 35 points in a 65-57 win

Cecile Kieger, Woodbury. The senior guard scored her 1,000th career point in a 67-47 win over Cretin-Derham Hall. She finished the game with 29 points, seven rebounds and two assists.

Abbey McDonald, Hibbing. The sophomore guard also passed the 1,000 career point milestone with 37 points in a 60-52 overtime loss to Chisago Lakes.

Destinee Oberg, Holy Angels. The sophomore forward led the No. 1-3A Stars with 20 points and 15 rebounds in a 65-53 win over DeLaSalle. It was Oberg's 10th double-double of the season.

Kallie Theisen, Wayzata. The sophomore forward had 24 points and 11 rebounds in a 62-56 win over No. 10-4A St. Michael-Albertville.

Patience Williams, Fridley. The freshman forward tallied 23 points, 12 rebounds and two assists in a thrilling 83-79 loss to St. Anthony.
