Chisago Lakes hoops star signs with UW-Madison

Junior forward Tinjum will join Badgers in 2012

Whitney Tinjum, a junior forward from Chisago Lakes and top prospect from Minnesota, has given a verbal commitment to the Wisconsin women’s basketball team.

Tinjum says she’ll join the Badgers in the fall of 2012.

The 6-1 Tinjum was the leading scorer in Minnesota until she missed five games with a concussion.
