Recap: Hopkins rolls over Kasson-Mantorville

Hopkins sped to a 40-point lead by halftime and coasted the rest of the way to a 78-30 victory over Kasson-Mantorville Saturday afternoon in the Breakdown Sports Tip Off Classic at the Lindberg Center in Hopkins.

Freshman Paige Bueckers fueled the Royals (4-0), ranked No. 1 in Class 4A by Minnesota Basketball News, quick start by scoring 21 points in the opening 18 minutes, finishing with 27.

Kristin Scott led the No. 6-3A Komets (1-2) with 12 points.
