ST. PAUL CENTRAL 55, NORTH ST. PAUL 48 (2 OT): Junior guard Jen 'Von'Ta Hill scored eight of St. Paul Central's 14 points in the second overtime to beat the Polars in the first round of the Woodbury Winterland Classic. The Minutemen held the ball for the final 1 minute, 30 seconds of the first overtime and missed a shot at the buzzer. 'Von'Ta Hill finished with 13 points. North St. Paul junior forward Sophie Jakulske led all scorers with 18 points.

ANNANDALE 49, ROGERS 48 (OT):: Senior Mykenzie Spaulding made two free throws with 8 seconds left in overtime, giving the Cardinals a victory over the Royals. Rogers missed a half-court shot as the time expired. The Royals’ Morgan Edstrom hit a shot from the top of the key as time expired in regulation play to send the game into overtime.

EDEN PRAIRIE 88, STILLWATER 28: Junior forward Jackie Johnson scored 20 points, leading six Eagles players in double figures in their victory over the Ponies. Eden Prairie held the Ponies to three points in the second half.

HOLY ANGELS 46, PINE ISLAND 45 (OT):: Junior Elizabeth Lecy had 13 points, including the tying basket on a 10-foot jump shot at the buzzer at the end of regulation, as the Stars outlasted the Panthers.

OSSEO 52, BLAINE 43: The Orioles rode a 17-0 run midway through the second half to defeat the Bengals. Cy’erra Mills scored 18 points and Phyllis Webb added 17 for Osseo.

ST. PAUL HIGHLAND PARK 55, FRIDLEY 49: Ashalee Moralez scored 20 of her game-high 32 points in the first half, leading the Scots past the Tigers. The junior guard was able to get behind the Fridley defense for a handful of easy transition buckets in the first half, and also hit three three-pointers prior to intermission.
