An amazing shot to finish a great game.

Roseville’s girls did it again. Last season Roseville and Totino-Grace matched up in a tightly contested game with the Raiders able to knock down a last second shot to come out on top. Last night, Roseville managed to top even that -- draining a half-court shot at the buzzer to win by a point. Roseville coach Jeff Crosby said the school is buzzing after another unbelievable ending.

Totino-Grace just needed to inbound the ball under the Raiders basket with seconds remaining. Without any timeouts for either team, Crosby put South Dakota State recruit Megan Stuart on the ball. Stuart was able to deflect the inbounds pass and in the scramble sophomore Jacqlyn Poss was able to somehow get a shot off before the buzzer.

Crosby said Poss, who has played varsity since 8th grade and is in her second year starting, was the player he would most want with the ball in her hands in this type of situation. The shot propelled the Raiders to a 58-57 win in their season-opener.
