St. Paul Como Park, junior guard

Big-time scorer in many ways. The 5-8 guard had 14 games of 30 points or more. “Humble team leader,” Cougars coach John Robinson said. College: Undecided.

 

Nia Hollie

Hopkins, junior guard

Power guard with size, strength and athleticism. The 6-1 Hollie also can pass and defend. College: Undecided.

 

Kiara Russell

Osseo, junior guard

Averages 23.4 points per game, gets teammates involved. The 5-7 Russell is “the real deal,” Osseo coach John Rieser said. College: Undecided.

 

Abi Scheid

Elk River, junior center

The 6-2 Scheid continues to develop her game. Runs the floor well, can be a handful in the post. Works hard on the defensive end. College: Undecided.

 

Alex Wittinger

Delano, senior forward

Well-rounded 6-1 athlete, can beat you inside or out. One of the state’s top shot blockers, also a D-I volleyball recruit. College: Illinois.

The Star Tribune’s All-Metro teams and Player of the Year were chosen based on nominations from metro-area coaches, conversations with a panel of coaches and staff observations.
