There's a bevy of top-notch games scheduled for Feb. 27, and New Prague at Orono has the mix of talent and consequence to elevate it above the rest.

While not of mythic proportion, the matchup between the Trojans and the Spartans is this season’s final Top Game of the Week.

It features two of the top Class 3A teams battling for a title in the stacked Wright County Conference’s East Division, where three of the division’s six teams are ranked in the top 10 by Minnesota Basketball News, including No. 1 Orono, No. 3 New Prague and No. 10 Waconia. Two other teams - Hutchinson and Delano - have spend time in the rankings, as well.

New Prague (20-3) is 7-1 in division play, just one game behind conference-leading Orono (23-1, 8-0).

Orono (23-1) has been unstoppable since losing 61-55 in overtime to No. 4-4A Minnetonka on Jan. 13. The Spartans have won nine consecutive games including two victories over both Delano and Waconia and a 69-64 win at New Prague on Feb. 6.

Each team has a league game to play before their meeting, with Orono hosting Hutchinson and New Prague welcoming Holy Family Catholic, and victories by both sets up a showdown for the division title.
