Our Top Game of the Week features one team trying to hang onto its ranking and another trying to claw its way into the top 10.

Eden Prairie (4-2) is No. 10 in the Class 4A Minnesota Basketball News rankings, and the Eagles will rely on senior forward Emma Boehm to keep them from dropping out of the top 10. Boehm averages 15.3 points per game and is shooting an impressive 43.8 percent from 3-point range. If Eden Prairie wants to maintain its ranking, or move up, it needs promising freshman forward Christianna Carr (8.5 ppg) to step up her scoring output.

Centennial was No. 9 in the Class 4A preseason poll but fell from the rankings after losing two of its first three games. The Cougars have 3-3 record and could make a move toward cracking the top 10 with an upset of the Eagles.

Centennial features Jaycie Gerding (17.5 ppg), a senior guard who can light up the scoreboard. If Eden Prairie's defense keys on Gerding, sophomore center Sarah Grow (9.3 ppg) and sophomore guard Nikki Clark (8.8 ppg) offer the Cougars two alternative scoring options.
