Minnetonka and Chanhassen have several things in common.
Both teams are led in scoring by guards.

And both teams are coming off their first loss of the season heading into this matchup.
Minnetonka (5-1) is ranked No. 2 and led by junior guard Courtney Frederickson (15.0 points per game). Fredrickson and junior forward Lizzie Odegard (10.8 ppg) provide the bulk of scoring for the Skippers. Junior guard Grace Allen (8.8 ppg) could prove to be a third scoring option. Allen scored 20 points against Lakeville South on Dec. 2.
Chanhassen (4-1, No. 4) has four players averaging in double figures in scoring, led by two Division I signees in senior guards Martha Kuderer (Seton Hall) and Danielle Gitzen (Missouri State). Kuderer and Gitzen average 19.0 points per game. The pair is followed closely by another set of Storm guards - senior Maddie Santjer (13.7 ppg) and junior Katie O’Brien (10.5 ppg).
