SECOND TEAM

Guards

Tia Elbert, Tartan, sr.

Ultra-quick 5-6 guard led the state, averaging more than 37 points per game. Creates off the dribble and can knock down the mid-range jumper. Marquette recruit played on the North Tartan AAU team with Washburn’s Coley and Kennedy’s Bell.

Madison Dean, Jordan, sr.

Dean led Jordan in points (30.8) and rebounds (11.1) per game and became the third player in Jordan history to score 2,000 career points. The Drake recruit is also a two-time Minnesota River Conference player of the year.

Forwards

Bryanna Fernstrom, Chisago Lakes, sr.

The 6-5 Iowa State recruit averaged a double-double for the Wildcats with 24.7 points and 13.2 rebounds. Fernstrom was a defensive presence as well, holding opposing post players to under five points per game.

Ellie Thompson, Chaska, sr.

Solid low-post skills and a soft touch around helped Thompson average more than 17 points per game.

Hannah Grim, Rosemount, sr.

Rosemount’s career leading scorer, averaging over 22 points per game.
