• EDINA 42, MINNEAPOLIS WASHBURN 41: Jill Morton scored 24 points to help the Hornets hold on for the victory over the Millers, ranked No. 10 in Class 3A. The Hornets (7-1) limited the Millers’ Chase Coley to six points, 22 below her season average. The Hornets have won seven consecutive games since a season-opening loss to Lakeville North, ranked No. 4 in Class 4A.

• DELASALLE 95, MARANATHA 84: Taylor Toney scored 24 points to lead the Islanders past the Mustangs. Lexi Lee scored 20 points to lead the Mustangs, who are ranked No. 6 in Class 1A.

• MAHTOMEDI 57, LEGACY CHRISTIAN 41: Ali Greene scored 17 points to lead the Zephyrs to their sixth victory in seven games. Mahtomedi won only four games last season.

• WEST LUTHERAN 42, ROCKFORD 41: Kari Preus hit a winning free throw with only seconds left to grab the victory for Warriors. Preus finished with a team-high 12 points. Rockford’s Jordan Weeding scored a game-high 16.
