Friday's girls' basketball roundup: Osseo turns back Maple Grove

Phillis Webb scored 23 points, Janay Morton had 20 and Ayo Porte 11 as the Orioles defeated the Crimson.

• OSSEO 62, MAPLE GROVE 52: Phillis Webb scored 23 points, Janay Morton had 20 and Ayo Porte 11 as the Orioles defeated the Crimson. Angie Davison was the only one of eight Maple Grove players to score in double digits, reaching 17 points.
 
• BENILDE-ST. MARGARET'S 66, ST. FRANCIS 54: Grace Coughlin led all scorers with 28 points as the Red Knights defeated the Fighting Saints. The score was tied 30-30 at halftime before the Knights pulled away in the second half. Nicole Borstner led the way for St. Francis with 21 points.
 
• MINNEHAHA ACADEMY 57, ST. CROIX LUTHERAN 52: Sarah Kaminski scored 14 points, Chloe Gunderson and Nicole Nipper added 13 points apiece and the Red Hawks defeated the Crusaders. Emily Wimmer led the Crusaders with 11 points, as nine different players scored for St. Croix Lutheran.
 
• ST. ANTHONY 54, CONCORDIA ACADEMY 45: Kirsten Whitney scored 18 points, Breanna Bergquist added 13 and Jenna Goldsmith had 11 as the Huskies defeated Concordia Academy. Michala Walther had 22 points, but it wasn't enough for the Beacons.
