Tuesday's girls' basketball roundup: Hill-Murray edges Tartan

• HILL-MURRAY 53, TARTAN 52: Tessa Doolittle led the Pioneers with 14 points, and Olivia Graskewicz chipped in with 12 as Hill-Murray overcame a 31-point outburst by Tia Elbert to defeat the Titans. The Titans had trouble at the free-throw line, sinking only 12 of 23 attempts.
 
• BLOOMINGTON KENNEDY 70, PRIOR LAKE 39: Jasmyn Martin led all scorers with 15 points as the Eagles defeated the Lakers. Jade Martin scored 13 points for Kennedy, and added six assists, six steals and five rebounds, while teammate Tonoia Wade followed closely behind with a 12-6-5-4 line. Deanna Busse led the Lakers with 15 points.
 
• ANDOVER 49, COON RAPIDS 48: Haydn Becker, Olivia Graham and McKenzie Becker combined for 32 of the Huskies' 49 points in a victory over the Cardinals. Shayla Huffman led all scorers with 14 points for Coon Rapids, while teammate Tashyna Jones had 12.
 
• OSSEO 74, PARK CENTER 61: The Orioles turned on the jets after taking a one-point lead at half, cruising to a double-digit victory behind 28 points from Janay Morton. Morton led four Orioles scorers in double figures, while Cayla McMorris paced the Pirates with 18 points.
 
• COLUMBIA HEIGHTS 52, FRIDLEY 47: Sewa Ifonlaja led all scorers with 18 points as the Hylanders turned a three-point halftime deficit into a five-point victory. Suzanne Gilreath and Samantha Martinson each scored 10 points for the Tigers.
 
• CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI 83, BIG LAKE 63: The story of the night for the Bluejackets was Brigette Audette's record-breaking night, as she scored 22 points to bring her to 1,427 career points, breaking the previous record of Kim Bottem (1,418). Teammate Brynn Liljander reached a milestone as well, as her game-high 28 points pushed her past 1,000 for her career.
