Tuesday's girls' basketball roundup: Gunderson gets win No. 600 at New Prague

Ron Gunderson -- the only coach in team history -- became the fourth girls' coach with 600 or more career victories.

• NEW PRAGUE 57, FARMINGTON 41: Lexi Ruehling had 26 points for the Trojans as Ron Gunderson -- the only coach in team history -- became the fourth girls' coach with 600 or more career victories.


• MAPLE GROVE 58, ANOKA 45: The Crimson came out fast in the second half, turning a three-point halftime deficit to a double-digit victory. Angie Davison of Maple Grove led all scorers with 15 points, while teammate Kaela Jones added 12. Claire Lundberg paced the Tornadoes with 14 points.


• EDINA 60, MINNETONKA 50: MC McGrory led the way with 29 in the Hornets' victory over the Skippers. The Skippers had a pair in double figures, with Anne Hamilton scoring 12 and Courtney Fredrickson 10.


• PARK OF COTTAGE GROVE 59, MOUNDS VIEW 43: Sydney Lamberty had 23 points, and teammate Larissa Lurken added 17 as the Wolfpack defeated the Mustangs. Jacky Volkert and Katie McDaniels had 11 points apiece in the loss.


• MONTICELLO 57, BUFFALO 49: The Magic defeated the Bison, paced by 18 points from Grace Sawatzke and another 13 from Gabby Laimer. Emily Spier had 15 points, seven rebounds and a block in the loss
