Braham's Becca Dahlman hit another milestone in a career filled with them, scoring her 4,000th career point in a 75-68 victory over Park Center at the Breakdown Tip Off Classic Saturday, Dec. 1 at Hopkins' Lindbergh Center. Already the state's career scoring leader -- having passed Mpls South star Tayler Hill last year as a junior -- Dahlman may put the mark in unreachable territory by the end of her senior season.
The milestone bucket came midway through the second half, as Dahlman took a feed along the baseline and hit a layup as she was being fouled. The ensuing and-one free throw gave her exactly 4,000 points. She finished the game with 41, putting her career mark at 4,010 points.
The Breakdown caught up with Dahlman and her coach Tim Malone following the game for a video interview (with highlights of her milestone points).
