LONG PRAIRIE — It was business as usual last Tuesday night for Long Prairie-Grey Eagle head coach Bruce Young, who is in his 37th year of coaching basketball.
Despite going for his 500th win against the West Central Area Knights, his only focus going into the game was getting the win to increase the team’s shot at a conference title and getting better seeding in the playoffs.
In fact, he wished his milestone night would’ve been kept a better secret because his players may have been trying too hard.
