The Pirates now stand a half-game behind entering the final week of January with another big game looming against third-place Osseo on Tuesday night. How close is the Northwest Suburban? Osseo als has already played Centennial and lost by a single point (59-58) on Jan. 3. Azaria Reed (10.3 ppg) scored 17 points and Bloomington Kennedy transfer Kiara Russell (11.8 ppg) added 16 points for the Orioles. They are key players in an athletic and versatile Orioles lineup that includes leading scorer Ayo Porte (11.9 ppg). Park Center does hold the head-to-head advantage this winter, winning 68-50 on Dec. 10 at home behind 22 points from McKenna Dubois (9.1 ppg) and 14 from McMorris.
