Barnesville vs.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton

7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 13

The Heart O’ Lakes Conference could come down to the outcome of the game between Barnesville and Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton, and no matter the stakes, this rematch is one to watch given their last meeting was decided by just one point.

If Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton has had one struggle this season, it's been defeating Pelican Rapids. The No. 2-2A Rebels (19-2, 6-2) were swept by their league rivals, a 76-72 defeat on Jan. 26 and a 61-48 loss at Pelican Rapids on Friday.

Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton will have to keep the Vikings in the rearview mirror as it prepares to visit No. 16-2A Barnesville, a formidable foe the Rebels edged on the road 70-69 in December.

To defeat the Trojans again, Dilworth-Glyndon-Fetlon needs big games from Natalie Steichen and Katlyn Brenna. Both are averaging more than 15 points per game and have each had games in which they’ve scored 30 or more points this season.

Barnesville (17-3, 8-1) enters the week holding a 1.5-game lead over the Rebels in the conference standings, and can improve its chance at a league title with a victory. The Trojans can make that happen by turning to Nicole Herbranson and Emma Nielsen, who combined for 28 points in a 38-36 victory at Hawley on Feb. 1.
