Southwest Christian vs. Norwood Young America
7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 23

Southwest Christian has won seven of eight games since the start of February, a run providing evidence the Stars (18-5, 9-2) have developed solid offensive depth.

Grace Schmidt (10.6 points per game) may have led the Stars with 19 points in a 68-58 loss to Mayer Lutheran on Feb. 11, but teammate Lauren Jones (4.6 ppg) had 10 to balance the scoring.

A similar scenario played out the next game as Brenna Krommendyk (7.6 ppg) finished with a team-high 15 points and Elizabeth Schwarz (13.8 ppg) added 13 in a 51-47 win over St. Croix Prep.

Norwood Young America bounced back from its first loss of the season, a tight 52-50 defeat to St. Peter on Feb. 6, by scoring 80 or more points in three straight wins. The No. 4-2A Raiders (24-1, 12-0) look to close the regular season by adding to the streak, including against the Stars on Thursday.

Kali Grimm had 31 points while Bren Fox and Samantha Miller each had 19 in an 86-70 over rival Mayer Lutheran on Valentine's Day.
