Lakeville North can lock up its first South Suburban Conference title since 2010-11 with a win over an Eastview team that is two games behind and tied for second in the league standings. 

The No. 3-4A Panthers (22-2, 15-1) have won 16 straight games, including a 48-45 win over the No. 5-4A Lightning on Jan. 19 and a 79-51 win over No. 6-4A Apple Valley on Feb. 7. Temi Carda leads Lakeville North at 14.9 points per game while Ke James has emerged as another offense threat, averaging 12.3 ppg.

Eastview rebounded from a surprise 60-57 loss to Shakopee on Feb. 10 with consecutive victories over Eagan (66-28) and Burnsville (76-38) the next week.

Allie Pickrain scored all 27 of her points against the Blaze from behind the three-point line, where she hit 9 of 10 attempts. Rachel Ranke added 16 points and Andrea Abrams had 10 points for the Lightening, who hit 12 of 14 three-pointers in the game.
