Eden Valley-Watkins vs. Kimball
7:15 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16

Eden Valley-Watkins coach Tom Jansen won his 400th career game on Feb. 6, guiding his team to a 55-50 victory over Annandale. Jansen and the No. 8-2A Eagles (19-3, 10-0) are in the pole position heading down the final four-game stretch in the race for the Central Minnesota Conference title.

Eden Valley-Watkins' toughest test remaining is No. 13-1A Kimball, and to pass with flying colors, the Eagles may need to lean on Elaina Strommes and Emma Schultz, who each had 14 points in a 63-37 victory over Perham on Feb. 11.

Kimball, meanwhile, will need a victory on Thursday to keep its conference title hopes alive after a 54-42 loss to Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa on Feb. 10 dropped the Cubs to 9-2 in league play and 18-3 overall.

Madison Hurrle (15.2 points per game), Katie Merchant (12.2 ppg) and Ashley Schindele (11.4 ppg) lead Kimball, which will try to rebound from its first loss in six games.
