Hopkins vs. Wayzata
7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16

Hopkins appears to be a lock to win its seventh consecutive Lake Conference title, with only No. 8-4A Wayzata and Eden Prairie left on its league schedule.

The No. 1-4A Royals (23-0, 6-0) hold a two-game lead over the Trojans (17-5, 4-2) and can wrap up the conference title with a win. Hopkins recorded an 85-55 victory over Wayzata on Jan. 13 and remained undefeated following a 73-52 victory over Edina on Feb. 10. Raena Suggs led the Royals with 25 points, while Angie Hammond added 19 and Dee Dee Winston finished with 12 against the Hornets.

Wayzata is 7-1 in its last eight games, with wins over No. 10-4A Park Center (49-39), No. 15-4A Minnetonka (68-59), No. 12-4A Edina (59-56) and No. 9-4A Roseville (54-39).

Kallie Theisen led the Trojans with 19 points and Mimi Schrader added 14 in a 60-52 win over Eden Prairie last Friday.
