Minnetonka vs. White Bear Lake
7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 7

Minnetonka (10-8, 2-3) had its nine-game winning streak stopped on Jan. 27 in a 68-59 loss to No. 9-4A Wayzata. The streaky Skippers haven’t won since and find themselves in the midst of a four-game skid.

Megan Walker, a Lehigh commit, could lead Minnetonka out of its recent funk. Walker had 23 points in a 62-56 loss to Sioux Falls Lincoln on Feb. 4 and leads the team in scoring with 16.8 ppg.

White Bear Lake (13-7, 8-3) is humming along, winners of five of its past six and will close out the nonconference schedule against a top-10 opponent in Minnetonka.

The No. 13-4A Bears have relied on their depth all season. Alexa Molin led White Bear Lake with 16 points in a 54-49 win over Stillwater on Jan. 27. The game prior, Jordan Ferrand led the team with 10 points in a 47-43 win over Park of Cottage Grove on Jan. 24. In a five-game stretch earlier this season, five different players led the Bears in scoring. No player averages 10 or more points a game.
