Minnetonka vs. Hopkins
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 31

Minnetonka has been a different team since a 77-49 loss to Hopkins on Dec. 9.

The No. 10-4A Skippers (10-5, 2-2) are 9-2 in their last 11 games and will try to make the second meeting with the No. 1-4A Royals more competitive behind Katey Brattland (12.7 ppg), Kayla Mershon (12.9 ppg) and Megan Walker (16.7 ppg).

Hopkins (19-0, 4-0) continues to dominate opponents, having only really been challenged by Eastview in a 65-60 overtime victory on Dec. 29.

Paige Bueckers led the Royals with 28 points while Raena Suggs added 26 in a 78-32 win over DeLaSalle on Jan. 26.

The Royals appear set on returning to the Class 4A state championship game, where they lost to Minnetonka a season ago.
