Woodbury vs. East Ridge
7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17

East Ridge has spent most of the season comfortably in Class 4A's top 10 rankings, a place crosstown rival Woodbury would like to get.

The No. 8-4A Raptors (10-3, 4-1) and Royals (8-4, 4-2) not only have rankings at risk when they meet Tuesday, but also positioning in the Suburban East Conference title race. East Ridge is a half-game behind Cretin-Derham Hall for first place in the league standings while Woodbury sits in the middle of the pack.

The Royals nearly knocked off a ranked foe on Jan. 14, falling to No. 10-4A Park Center 58-53 as Rachel Hakes had 14 points and Cecile Kieger finished with 13.

The Raptors have won three straight games, including a 36-25 victory over Park of Cottage Grove on Jan. 13. East Ridge held the Wolfpack to nine points in the first half and got plenty of offense from Kelen Kenol, who finished with a game-high 17 points.
