Lakeville North vs. Eastview
7 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 19

Eastview eased the sting of its two-game skid earlier this month with impressive victories over Prior Lake (72-60) and Eagan (58-20) last week. The Lightning (12-2, 6-0) look to add another when they host South Suburban Conference rival Lakeville North on Thursday.

Rachel Ranke is Eastview's leading scorer and a potent offensive threat who can put up 20 or more points with relative ease -- she dropped 26 points in the victory over the Wildcats. Allie Pickrain is averaging 12.2 points per game but has failed to reach double digits in scoring in the last four games.

Lakeville North (12-2, 5-1) is staring down Eastview in the conference standings and can grab a share of the top spot with win. The Panthers have won six straight games following a 67-60 loss to Apple Valley on Dec. 20 and are building momentum heading into the back half of the season.

Caitlyn Peterson led Lakeville North with 12 points while Ke James and Lauren Jensen each added 11 in a 64-29 win over rival Lakeville South on Jan. 13.
