St. Michael-Albertville vs. Wayzata
7:15 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 17

Kallie Theisen finished with 20 points and Mimi Schrader hit the game-winning shot to lift Wayzata over No. 5-3A Orono 48-46 on Jan. 3. The Trojans (10-4, 1-2) now turn their attention toward knocking off a ranked Class 4A team as they kick off a difficult stretch of their schedule.

Wayzata hosts No. 6-4A St. Michael-Albertville on Tuesday before facing No. 10-4A Park Center on Thursday.

Knights' leading scorer and Iowa State recruit Rae Johnson (18.8 points per game) garners a lot of the attention, but Makenzie Kramer and Lizzy Heil have increased their contributions lately.

Kramer, a freshman averaging 11.5 ppg, had 18 points in a 69-57 victory on Jan. 7 over a then-ranked No. 2-4A Eastview, and Heil had 15 points in a 65-63 loss to Elk River on Jan. 13.
