Apple Valley vs. Rosemount
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 10

Apple Valley will try to extend its winning streak to nine games Tuesday at South Suburban Conference foe Rosemount.

Included in the Eagles' eight-game winning streak is an impressive 81-67 victory over No. 5-4A Centennial on Dec. 30. Brynne Rolland went for 33 points while Lyndsey Robson finished with 22 and Megan Baer added 11. Rolland also had a 16-point effort in a 65-54 win over Shakopee on Jan. 6 to extend the run for No. 4-4A Apple Valley 10-1, 3-0).

Rosemount (6-5, 1-2) can put itself back in the conversation as a South Suburban contender with a win, but the Irish must find additional scoring options to complement the potent Maddy Olson.

Lakeville North held Olson to 11 points in Rosemount's 55-43 loss on Jan. 6, but she responded in impressive fashion. The senior had 35 points in a 73-69 victory over No. 9-3A Hutchinson and a 39-point game in a 68-63 loss to No. 9-4A Cretin-Derham Hall on Dec. 6.
