Elk River vs. Andover
7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 16

Elk River is rising in the rankings thanks to senior Gabi Haack, who continues elevating her play. The Bradley commit is posting 28.3 points per game, helping the Elks (3-0, 2-0) spring to No. 4-4A, up three places from last week.

Haack, who averaged 16 ppg last season, scored 31 points in a 70-36 win over Irondale last week and had 28 to help engineer a 61-47 victory over No. 9-4A Lakeville North in the season opener.

Northwest Suburban Conference rival Andover (4-0, 2-0) will try to slow Haack while countering with offensive threat Jolene Daninger. The DePaul recruit leads the Huskies in scoring (22 ppg), and the senior tallied 31 points in a 71-57 victory over Forest Lake in late November and had 28 in a 71-24 win over Spring Lake Park last week.
