Cretin-Derham Hall vs. Hastings
7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29

Cretin-Derham Hall heads to former conference rival Hastings hoping to return ready to roll through Suburban East Conference play.

Frannie Hottinger, Elizabeth Edinger and Autam Mendez return from last year's 17-11 team, and the trio were key in the Raiders' 72-37 blowout victory over Benilde-St. Margaret’s in the season opener. Hottinger finished with a team-high 16 points while Mendez scored 15 and Edinger had eight.

They'll also have to play big roles as Cretin-Derham Hall (1-0) faces tests against Rosemount on Dec. 6 and at Hastings on Nov. 29.

Hastings finished 21-6 last year and will look to returning scorers Krystal Carlson and Mallory Brake for offense as the Raiders open the season Tuesday. Carlson averaged 20.9 points per game last year while Brake scored 14.5 ppg as an eighth-grader.
