Edina at Minneapolis Southwest
7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16

This nonconference matchup should be a solid test for both teams heading down the regular season's home stretch.

Edina (12-11, 2-4) began the season with high hopes and a 6-1 record that helped the Hornets crack the Class 4A rankings, but a challenging schedule has left them hovering around a .500 record.

Edina's main scoring option is 6-foot-3 Colorado commit Annika Jank, who posts 14.5 ppg.

Minneapolis Southwest (18-3, 11-0) is having a strong season and locked up at least a share of the Minneapolis City Conference crown for the first time since 1984 with a win over Minneapolis Patrick Henry on Feb. 12.

Senior guard Keyia Parker scores 14.3 ppg and has led the Lakers to wins in nine of their last 10 games.
