7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9

South Dakota commit Lashayla Wright-Ponder scored 30 points in Bloomington Kennedy's victory over Robbinsdale Cooper on Jan. 12.

Wright-Ponder hasn't scored less than 24 points since the Eagles faced their main competition in Metro West Conference, helping the senior maintain a scoring average of 25.5 ppg, which ranks her sixth in the state entering the week.

Cooper (12-5, 7-1) is a young squad led by sophomore Ja'Hyia Gaston and freshman Aja Wheeler, who average 13.2 and 13.1 ppg, respectively.

The Hawks' only league loss came against the Eagles (10-9, 7-1), who turned right around and fell to Chaska on Jan. 15, leaving Cooper and Kennedy deadlocked atop the Metro West standings.
