Dover-Eyota at Goodhue
3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 6

Dover-Eyota ends its second consecutive three-game week with a challenging nonconference game at Goodhue on Saturday.

The No. 7-2A Eagles (14-5, 11-1) dropped contests to No. 1-2A Plainview-Elgin-Millville and Zumbrota-Mazeppa before picking up a win over St. Charles last week.

The Wildcats have played well all season, even in losses, as No. 1-1A Goodhue almost defeated No. 4-3A Kasson-Mantorville 54-52 on Jan. 22.

Sophomore Sydney Lodermeier and the Wildcats' defense will have their hands full with Dover-Eyota's talent and length, as 6-foot-1 seniors Madison Nelson and Megan Hintz provide a 1-2 punch for the Eagles.

Nelson, a Denver commit, and Hintz, a Minnesota-Duluth commit, each average over 20 ppg.
