Montevideo at Sauk Centre
6 p.m., Friday, Jan. 29

Sauk Centre has been on a roll all season en route to a 13-0 record. The only close call came against Dover-Eyota in a rematch of the Class 2A championship game on Dec. 5 at the Breakdown Sports USA Tip Off Classic, where the No. 2-2A Mainstreeters got a bit of revenge with a 70-68 victory over the No. 5-2A Eagles.

Leading the West Central Conference's North Division with a 4-0 record, Sauk Centre is powered by sophomore guard Maesyn Theisen, perhaps best known for guiding the Mainstreeters to last season's Class 2A state title game, where she scored 23 points in a loss.

Montevideo (9-3, 3-1) has seven straight wins since falling to Sauk Centre 93-54 on Dec. 17.
