Hopkins at Minnetonka
7 p.m., Friday, Jan. 22

The No. 1-4A Royals (14-1, 2-0) are led by Michigan State commit Nia Hollie, a 6-foot-1 senior posting 16.1 points per game. She scored a season-high 33 points in a 78-47 thrashing of Eden Prairie on Jan. 15.

Fellow senior Ashley Bates, a Hampton commit, averages 13.0 ppg to help pace a Hopkins' attack that features seven other players averaging 5.1 ppg or more.

The No. 7-4A Skippers (12-3, 2-0) counter with a potent 1-2 punch, as seniors Courtney Fredrickson (16.1 ppg), a Wisconsin commit, and Lizzie Odegard (11.0 ppg), a UW-Milwaukee commit, pace the offense.

But Minnetonka is also getting 9.8 ppg from sophomore Chrissy Carr, who matched a season-high with 16 points in the Skippers' 66-44 rout of Wayzata on Jan. 15.
