Plainview-Elgin-Millville at Caledonia
7:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 11

Two teams with 7-0 records in Three Rivers Conference action meet on Monday night in what also might be a preview of a Class 2A, Section 1 playoff game.

The No. 1-2A Bulldogs are a force to be reckoned with so far this season, as Plainview-Elgin-Millville is averaging 74.1 ppg while only giving up 38.6 ppg.

Led by senior Sarah Hart, a St. Bonaventure commit, the Bulldogs even gave No. 6-4A Rochester Mayo all it could handle in a 56-55 loss at the Rochester Rotary Holiday Classic in late December.

Caledonia (8-3) started the season with six straight wins but is just 2-3 over its last five games. Mariah Schroeder has been a bright spot throughout, as the 5-foot-8 junior guard recently surpassed the 1,000-point mark for her career, making her just the eighth Warriors player to reach the benchmark.
