Apple Valley at Lakeville North
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 12

Off to a 10-2 start, Lakeville North has helped make the South Suburban Conference one of the toughest leagues in the state, with four teams cracking Minnesota Basketball News' Class 2A top-10 rankings.

The No. 5 Panthers are understandably 2-2 in conference play with the losses coming to No. 4 Eastview on Dec. 15 and a 68-62 heartbreaker to No. 2 Shakopee on Jan. 8.

Lakeville North is paced by 15.0 ppg from junior Temi Carda while senior Sarah Krynski notches 11.0 ppg.

The No. 10 Eagles found themselves ranked for the first time this season after tallying five-straight wins since a loss to Eastview on Dec. 18.

Marie Olson, a 6-foot-3 sophomore, averages 13.3 ppg and is a nice complement to Apple Valley leading scorer and UW-Green Bay commit Lyndsey Robson, who posts 15.8 ppg.
