Andover at Elk River
7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 27

Andover can't snatch the Northwest Suburban Conference North Division title from Elk River, but the Huskies can send the Elks into the postseason on a sour note when the teams meet in the regular-season finale.

Sophomore guard Jolene Daninger (15.3 ppg) paces an Andover team (15-9, 8-3) that has nine players who have finished a game scoring in double digits this season including sophomore guards Hailey Diemer (17 points) and Amanda Dagostino (14), who led the Huskies in a 59-53 loss to Elk River on Jan. 30.

Balanced scoring may be the key for Andover to defeating the No. 5-4A Elks (21-3, 10-0), who are lead by junior center Abi Scheid (17.6 ppg) and sophomore guard Gabi Haack (14.8 ppg). Haack scored a game-high 19 points and Scheid had 14 in Elk River’s win over the Huskies.
