Roseville at Osseo
2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 14

Osseo (13-8) scored a signature win over then-No. 2-3A Park Center, edging the Pirates 70-69 in overtime on Jan. 27, led by junior guard Kiera Russell (22.9 ppg) and her 19 points.

The Orioles can get another marquee win with a victory over No. 5-4A Roseville on Feb. 14.

Junior guard Kiera Russell leads Osseo in scoring (22.9 ppg), while sophomore forward Azaria Reed (12.2 ppg) and sophomore guard Mikayla Homola (10.3 ppg) give the Orioles two other scoring options if the defense keys on Russell.

Osseo has won its last four games, including an 82-37 victory at Spring Lake Park on Feb. 6. Russell finished with 23 points, while Homola had 16 and Lemia Ntor-ue added 22 in the victory.

Since losing to No. 4-4A Minnetonka on Dec. 6, Roseville has rattled off 17 straight wins and has risen in the rankings. The Raiders, however, are no sure bet. They enter the week after eking out a 45-44 victory at Sioux Falls Washington (S.D.) on Feb. 7 and have matchups with East Ridge and Forest Lake before meeting Osseo.

Senior forward Monica Burich (17.9 ppg) has been sensational for Roseville (18-1), and sophomore guard Kaia Porter (10.2 ppg) has shown she can score from the backcourt. The Raiders are strong finishers, outscoring their opponents by a combined 524-380 in the second half this season.
