New Prague at Hill-Murray
7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 10

No. 3 New Prague (16-3) is keeping pace in the Wright County Conference East Division, arguably the toughest division in the state with four of the six teams ranked in Class 3A. The Trojans have a 4-1 conference record and are just one game back of conference leader Orono, who defeated New Prague 69-64 on Feb. 6 despite sophomore guard Maizie Deihl’s 29 points.

Deihl (17.6 ppg) carries the scoring load in the backcourt while sophomore forward Taylor Hustad (12.1 ppg) provides a viable scoring option in the frontcourt.

Senior guard Lindsey Malecha (20.8 ppg) paces No. 5-3A Hill-Murray (16-4). Fellow senior guard Olivia Graskewicz (13.8 ppg) and junior forward Sami Schneider are each capable of carrying the scoring load. Graskewicz finished with a season-high 23 points in a 74-54 victory over Forest Lake on Dec. 27, while Schneider's season-best 22 points came in a 75-56 victory over North St. Paul on Jan. 13.

The Pioneers have won six of their last seven games.

Neither teams has much room for error in this game, which carries Section 4 seeding implications.
