Eden Prairie at Minnetonka
7 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 5

A tough schedule tripped up Eden Prairie, which has lost four straight games to a murder's row of Class 4A teams: No. 1 Hopkins, No. 9 Chanhassen, No. 7 Edina and previously ranked Shakopee.

The Eagles look to avoid making it five in a row when they travel to Lake Conference rival Minnetonka, ranked No. 4 in Class 4A.

Despite its pedestrian record, Eden Prairie (10-8, 1-3) has some offensive talent. Senior forward Emma Boehm (14.7 ppg, 5.2 rpg) and junior guard Esabelle Levine (11.4 ppg) lead the team in scoring, while freshman guard Christianna Carr (8.7 ppg) provides athleticism and energy off the bench.

The Skippers (16-3, 3-1) defeated the Eagles 55-51 on Dec. 19, avenging last season’s loss in the Section 6 championship. Minnetonka has four players who have scored at least 20 points in a game, led by junior forward Courtney Fredrickson's 30 in an 82-51 victory over Holy Family on Jan. 3. Fredrickson (16.5 ppg) and senior guard Caroline Shelquist (11.2 ppg) are the Skippers' top scorers.
