Hopkins at Centennial
7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 3

No. 1-4A Hopkins (17-1) is on a 13-game winning streak that's been powered by the guard trio of juniors Ashley Bates (14.4 ppg) and Nia Hollie (14.3 ppg) and senior T.T. Starks (12.6 ppg).

Hopkins' firepower extends to its bench with senior guard Viria Livingston (7.6 ppg), who scored 19 points in a 94-52 win over Eagan on Dec. 29, and 6-foot-2 junior forward Liz Bulver (6.6 ppg) providing plenty of ammo.

No. 10-4A Centennial (12-6) recently recorded back-to-back single-digit losses, falling to Champlin Park (53-50) and Blaine (67-60). The Cougars are trying to claw back to midseason form, which helped them win seven consecutive games from Dec. 30-Jan. 22.

Senior guard Jaycie Gerding (15.8 ppg) and sophomore center Sarah Grow (10.9 ppg, 6.5 rpg) are the sparks that ignite Centennial's offense.
