Sartell-St. Stephen looks to even the season series with Alexandria in this Central Lakes Conference showdown.

The Sabers lost to the Cardinals 46-44 on Dec. 19, and a victory in this matchup will move Sartell-St. Stephen within a half game of first-place Alexandria in the standings.

The Sabers (11-4, 7-2) will need a big game from senior forward Kendra Raths, who scored 32 points in a 72-67 win over Brainerd on Dec. 16.

No. 9-3A Alexandria has won five straight since losing to No. 7-3A Hutchinson 63-58 on Dec. 30, and the Cardinals (11-2, 8-0) are coming off a 73-33 win over Rocori on Jan. 24. Senior center Brooke Heggie finished with game-high 20 points and sophomore center Kayla Feldhake had 15 for Alexandria in the victory.

Cardinals sophomore guard Macy Hatlestad was named the Quality Toyota Player of the Game by KXRA Newstalk Radio after finishing with 10 points, four rebounds and four assists in the victory over Sartell-St. Stephen earlier this season.
