Roseville at White Bear Lake
7:15 p.m., Friday, Jan. 23

Roseville hasn’t lost since Dec. 6, when the Raiders fell at Minnetonka 53-22. That defeat sparked an 11-game winning steak and propelled Roseville to the No. 7 spot in the Class 4A rankings.

The Raiders are sure to be geared up for their game at White Bear Lake, which not only is a Suburban East Conference rival but also a Section 4 foe. Both teams are 6-0 in league play and the winner of this game takes sole possession of first place.

Senior forward Monica Burich (17.5 ppg) leads Roseville (12-1) on offense, while sophomore guard Kaia Porter (9.5 ppg) is a second scoring option.

A 10-5 record belies White Bear Lake’s balance and depth. Seven different players have scored 10 or more points in a game this season, including junior guard Alison Hinck, who had 24 in a 64-49 victory over Centennial on Dec. 4. Hinck leads the team in scoring at 14.7 ppg. Two of the Bears' five losses came against ranked teams in No. 2-4A Minnetonka and No. 3-4A Eastview.
