Woodbury at Roseville

Woodbury isn’t ranked in Class 4A despite an 8-2 record. That could change if the Royals get past Roseville, a Suburban East Conference rival and Section 4 opponent.

The Royals started the season with six consecutive victories, equaling their win total from last year (6-20 overall). Freshman guard Rachel Hakes leads the offense at 10.0 ppg.

No. 8-4A Roseviile (10-1) is on a nine-game winning streak since losing to No. 2-4A Minnetonka 53-22 in the second game of the season (Dec. 6). Senior forward Monica Burich leads the Raiders with a 17.5 ppg. Sophomore center Meleah Hansen scored a game-high 16 points in Roseville's 56-35 win over Forest Lake on Jan. 9.
