Benilde-St. Margaret's at Eden Prairie
7 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6

Benilde-St. Margaret’s recently fell out of the top 10 in the Class 3A rankings, but the Red Knights have a golden opportunity to climb back early in the week when they travel to Eden Prairie.

A victory over the Eagles would help gloss over Benilde-St. Margaret's two-game losing streak in the Hill-Murray Holiday Tournament. The Red Knights lost to Park of Cottage Grove 46-42 on Dec. 27 and fell to Forest Lake 62-56 on Dec. 29.

Benilde-St. Margaret's (7-4) rebounded with a 65-54 win over Cretin-Derham Hall in the tournament's seventh-place game on Dec. 30.

Senior forwards Azzairia Jackson-Sherrod (14.5 ppg) and Sidney Liebl (12.8 ppg) and senior guard Gretchen Sattler (12.3 ppg) each have scored 22 or more points in a game this season.

Eden Prairie (7-3) is riding a three-game winning streak, highlighted by a 47-41 win over No. 1-3A Park Center on Jan. 3. Senior forward Emma Boehm (15.7 ppg) leads the Eagles' balanced offense, one in which seven players have finished with 10 or more points in a game.
