White Bear Lake at Lakeville North

White Bear Lake proved its mettle through eight games. The No. 6-4A Bears (6-2) only losses are to ranked teams in No. 1-4A Eastview (56-42) and No. 3-3A Hill-Murray (69-62). Junior guard Alison Hinck (15.1 ppg) leads the Bears, who are coming off a 61-42 win over Suburban East Conference rival Mounds View. Junior center Kate Brabenec scored 12 points in the win. 

Lakeville North (2-5) has run the gauntlet with a grueling schedule. All five of the Panthers' losses are to ranked teams. Sophomore guard Temi Carda (11.9 ppg) was the lone bright spot in the Panthers’ 49-37 loss to No. 1-4A Eastview on Dec. 19, as she finished with 10 points. 

White Bear Lake defeated Lakeville North 66-54 last season.
