Chisago Lakes (3-2) has lost its past two games but remains ranked No. 6 in Class 3A. The Wildcats have struggled to keep up with opponents in the second half of games, where Chisago Lakes has been outscored 161-129.

Senior forward Sarah Greene (17.5 points per game) and freshman guard Carmen Backes (17.0 ppg) have carried the scoring load for the Wildcats.

New Prague’s sophomore guard Maizie Deihl (18.0 ppg) can score, but the Trojans (4-2, No. 8-3A) need players such as sophomore forward Taylor Hustad and sophomore center Maddie Giesen to better their scoring averages. Both Hustad and Giesen have scored 15 points in a game this season, but are each averaging less than 10.0 ppg through six games.
