Hayfield at Plainview-Elgin-Millville

Plainview-Elgin-Millville travels to Hayfield for a matchup between Class 2A, Section 1 rivals. 

Plainview-Elgin-Millville holds the No. 1 spot in the preseason poll after finishing 25-5 last season. The Bulldogs will look to junior guard Sarah Hart (14.6 points per game) and senior forward Karlie Gilbeck (11.3 ppg, 5.3 rebounds per game) for offensive production.

Hayfield is No. 10-2A. The Vikings went 21-6 last year and return senior guards Johanna Bungum and Bhrett Zahnke, who combined to average nearly 20 points per game last season. 

Plainview-Elgin-Millville topped Hayfield 69-58 in a regular-season matchup last year.
